01.-CALAFATE
Arrival to the airport. Meet and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight.
02.-CALAFATE
Breakfast . Half day City Tour of Calafate. Return to the hotel. Overnight
03.-CALAFATE
Breakfast.Full day tour to the Perito Moreno National Park, 78 km. away from El Calafate. Ride along the Provincial route #11, along the “Lago Argentino” (Argentino Lake) and after 35 km, arrival to The Glaciers National Park. This is a wooden area full of “ñires”, “lengas”, “notros” and “guindos” (all local plants). Arrival at the Perito Moreno Glacier Viewpoint, to see all its splendor . On arriving to the paths you will realize that the Glacier is a spectacle itself all year round as the incredible iceslides are continuous, and the huge ice blocks become beautiful floating ice floes of deep blue, hardly ever seen , showing an scenery that takes the breath away from the observer.
Afterwards, embark at the Port at "Bajo de las sombras Bay” , situated 6 km. away from the Glacier Viewpoint to start a one hour nautical safari, to watch the ice floes of the Glacier and arriving to the south end of the “Canal de los Témpanos” (Ice Floes Canal) The ship navigates at a reasonable distance from the Glacier , but following its extensión and allowing the tourist to watch the iceslides and enjoy the beautiful bluish of its walls. This is the opportunity to observe a totally different perspective of the Perito Moreno Glacier . As only from this perspective you will be able to appreciate the real dimension of this huge ice bulk. Finally, return to the hotel. Overnight.
04.-CALAFATE
