Day 01 - SANTIAGO
Arrival, meet and transfer from the Airport to the Hotel. Later, City Tour visiting Downtown Santiago Santa Lucía the Santa Lucía Hill, Providencia, San Cristóbal Hill, Precolombino Museum, Cable Car, Recoleta, that is a whole view of Santiago. Return to the Hotel. Overnight
DIA 02 - SANTIAGO - CALAMA - SAN PEDRO
Breakfast and at agreed time, transfer to the Airport to take a flight to Calama.
Meet at El Loa Airport of Calama and transfer to the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight.
Day 03 - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA –VALLEY OF THE MOON.
Breakfast. and departure at 09.00 to Visit Pukara of Quitor, Salt Mountains. Thento Tulor ruins which date back more than 3000 years. Return to San Pedro through the Sequitor Ayllu [oasis]. Distance travelled 26 Kms. Estimated return time to San Pedro: 12:00 hours.
In the afternoon: Departure time 15:00 Through the road that links San Pedro with the city of Calama. A stopover to take photographs of the Salt Mountains. Afterwards, a visit to the Valley of Death (a 20-30 minutes walk). During our stay in the Valley of the Moon, a visit to the salt statue "Las Tres Marías" [Three Marys], the Salt Mine, the Mirador, the Salt Caves and we shall wait for the sunset at the great sand dune situated in the central crater. Distance traveled: 42 Kms. Estimated return time to San Pedro: 20:00 hours. Overnight
Day 04 - S. P. DE ATACAMA – SALT DEPOSIT AND FLAMINGO LAGOON
Breakfast. Morning at Leisure. You can visit the Village, it´s Church and Archeological Museum "Padre Lepaige" by your own.
In the afternoonDeparture to visit the Village of Toconao on the way to the Atacama Salt Deposit. Visit the Liparita stone quarry and Valle de Jerez [Sherry Valley]. The tour ends with a visit to Chaxa Lagoon to watch flamingos and wait for the sunset. Return to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight.
Day 05 - S.P. DE ATACAMA – TATIO GEYSER – ANDEAN VILLAGES - CALAMA
Departure time 04:00 hours from Hotels. Arrival time to El Tatio Geysers (4.320 metres above sea level): 07:00 hours. Breakfast and walk through the site. Then visit to the Caspana Village (Old Village, Church). Afterwards visit to Pukara [Fortification of Incaic origin] de Lasana, the petroglyphs of the Loa River Valley, the Inca Coya Lagoon and Chiu-Chiu (Church). Arrival to Calama, airport and flight to Santiago.
Arrival, meet and transfer to hotel in Santiago. Overnight
Dia 06 – SANTIAGO
Breakfast and transfer to to the Airport.
