 | | | LIMA, COLONIAL & MODERN3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1: Arrival in Lima – City Tour, Visit to the Colonial and Contemporary Zones
Upon arrival, our collaborators offer a welcoming reception and will transfer you to the hotel. A documentation kit, detailed program explanation plus luggage and hotel registration assistance is offered. In the afternoon, a trip to the most ranked places of Lima, “The City of the Kings” including the most important architectural samples of the city, such as the Main Square or Pizarro’s Square, where you can find de Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace. Later, we continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel dating back to the 16th century. On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross along the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial heart of the city, to take a look at the Huaca Huallamarca. Finally, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we will visit Parque del Amor (Love Park), an excellent spot to enjoy a great view of the Pacific Ocean. Back to the hotel, or if you want, we can drop you off at Larcomar’s entertaining center, where you can enjoy a dynamic environment with a beautiful oceanview and excellent places to have fun, such as coffee shops, restaurants, souvenir and craftmanship stores, jeweler’s stores, etc. Lodging in Lima.
Day 2: Pachacamac Oracle–Free afternoon shopping –Delights of Lima at night
Breakfast. During the morning, you will be taken 30km south of Lima, along the Pan-American highway, to the Pilgrimage Center of Pachacamac, located in the coast valley of Lurin. This is a citadel made of adobe from pre-Inca’s time where the pilgrims went to ask the Pachacamac Oracle and later, during the Ica’s domination time, it was a place to worship the god sun. When the Spaniards arrived, it turned into the most important ceremonial center in the Peruvian coastline. Later, you will have a free afternoon to rest, carry out some optional activity or go shopping to the Indian markets and exclusive boutiques where you can find clothes made from Vicuña and Alpaca’s wool. At night, we will come back to the hotel or, if you prefer, you can be dropped off at Larcomar’s entertaining center, where you can enjoy a dynamic environment, a beautiful view of the sea and excellent places to continue the fun. Day 3: Lima -International Departure
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the airport so you can take your international departure flight.
